What is CKD-associated Pruritus?

Chronic kidney disease-associated pruritus ( CKD-associated Pruritus) is a troubling, and in some cases debilitating, condition that affects haemodialysis (HD) patients.1

The pruritus that patients experience is frequently persistent, which dramatically reduces patients’ quality-of-life and in severe cases is associated with an increase in mortality.2,3
